What do fats have to do with our brain?

We all want a healthier, disease-free body & brain. Eating good saturated fats & hopping on a keto anti-aging lifestyle is the vehicle to get us there to create a healthy brain as we age for longevity.

More than half of the human brain consists of fat and cholesterol, and nearly half of the fat in the brain is saturated. That makes getting the right fats from our diets essential to slowing down aging and living longer without disease.

One of the best fats to support our fatty brain and reduce our risk for diseases is coconut oil.

Getting coconut oil and mct oil in the diet is a direct fuel for the brain and works more efficiently than glucose. Fat contains more than twice as many calories per gram as carbohydrates and protein making it an efficient source of energy. This is essential to reverse and prevent brain disorders & Alzheimers which are on the rise.

Coconut oil is composed of caproic acid, caprylic acid, capric acid and lauric acid that are easily absorbed through the intestines without the need to be broken down by bile acids. They’re transported directly to the liver, bypass digestion and are not stored as calories but burned as a quick source of energy, esp. for the brain, reducing brain fog & creating mental clarity.

The lauric acid found in coconut oil has natural antimicrobial properties that can provide protection against pathogenic microorganisms & Candida in the intestines and promote a healthy balance of intestinal bacteria.
